In traveling down to Mexico, the 2013 Summer Mexico Mission group did Tract distributions in Denver, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, El Paso, and at other various stops along the way. In Mexico, the skits, puppet shows, bands, and open air preaching went well. The group had the opportunity to pass out around 14,000 Spanish NT and bookmarks that accurately present the gospel and give information about the Amigo Fiel church. The group worked hard, with days in which everyone was up at 6:30 am and they were not back some nights until around 10 pm. The temperature got up to 102-103 for some days, and it was even hotter on the roofs where most of our guys spent many hours each day helping do repairs. The ladies did a great job painting homes and working with the kids at Amigo Fiel in the afternoons. There were also other exciting doors that were opened for outreach.
Please continue to pray for those who received a copy of the New Testament that they would take the time to read God's word and that the Holy Spirit would open their eyes to the truth of the gospel (in particular, please pray for Juan, who received a Spanish NT shortly after having been released from prison a couple hours ahead of his scheduled release and knew of his need to repent and turn his life over to Jesus Christ). Also, pray for others that were ministered to while the group was down there in addition to praying for the ministry of Amigo Fiel as well as the whole city of Juarez.
